University of Nairobi is committed to scholarly excellence and is guided by its core values that, includes responsible corporate citizenship with a mandate of bringing up all rounded graduate citizens who can actively contribute towards the ‘Big four’ areas of national focus as envisioned by the Kenya Government.

Drug abuse has serious negative consequences to societies with the greatest impact being on the young people. It ruins individuals who would otherwise have been active in building the nation. Furthermore, it contributes to unplanned pregnancies, HIV and sexually transmitted infections, and negatively impacts mental health.
